My Green Cupboard at Christmastime

Hi Friends! Thank you so much for your kind comments on my Hoosier and snowman collection! Tonight I thought I'd show you the other side of the room where my green cupboard is.
I'll let the pics do the talking again. Pretty self explanatory anyway! LOL

This Santa blow mold was $2.99 at Goodwill a few weeks ago! One of only a couple things I've added this year. And let me tell you...it's been sooo hard to stay away from the stores! But my finances and health just aren't allowing for it this year. As you can see though, I'm not hurting for vintage Christmas and I'm very thankful for what I've found in the past.
Speaking of finances, Wellie and I are heading to the vet tomorrow. A couple weeks ago I tried giving her a different kind of bone and it BROKE two of her teeth! Now she has to have one of them pulled because it cracked all the way down to the pulp. A fun way to spend $450!

Happy Holidays!
Love Wellie & Ernie

  4. Your cabinet looks like a booth at an antique mall! LOVE IT!!! Yesterday, I was putting my weekend finds away and Brian asked me if I was running out of room yet. HA! I just keep piling it on. The more the merrier this time of year, right?

Poor Wellie. I hate it when my babies have to go to the vet. Give her a big smooch from all of us!

  6. Erica, that green cupboard is fabulous on its own, but with the addition of all that vintage Christmas goodness, it is OUTSTANDING! Seriously, it looks like a photo you'd find in Country Living magazine. You have it decorated beautifully! I bet it makes you so happy to look over and see it! :)

  8. Wow! My Christmas Spirit lights just popped back on! I've been feeling discouraged because 1st...I was sick for ten days and 2nd...all my lights seem to be under the control of Gremlins! Some of my trees and my front porch lights are going dark this season. But it sure helps a lot to visit my blogging friends for a spirit boost!.

  9. Mega cuteness! If I hadn't sold a single piece of vintage Christmas, I bet I could have a sweet collection like that. Unfortunately, I'm trying to keep it under control over here!

  10. Awesome displays Erica! Your wreath looks awesome up there!

Yes, finances and health have kept me from treasure hunting, too. Sometimes I feel as though I'll never have a booth but I believe that good things come to those who wait!

Sorry about the vet bill! Feel better well soon, Wellie!

  22. Hi Erica, I love your magic green cupboard, it's gorgeous! So much pretty eye candy for Christmas, you don't need a tree, I could just look at that cupboard and be Happy!!
I'm so sorry about little Wellie's teeth. I didn't realize a bone could do that kind of damage, I'll have to be more careful with Wilma's treats. She tries to eat everything.
I wish you and your furbabies a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Aww poor Willie. WOW! I did not know a bone would crack a fur babies teeth. I am going to have to be careful what I let Duchess chew on. Hope everything goes well.

  26. After seeing this, I wish I could plunk my antique peasant closet in my family room and fill it up!

Sorry to hear about the pup's tooth. Our little guy is an aggressive chewer, we don't give him bones or anything hard and he's managed to chip a canine anyway. His binky is a rubber Kong as we have to allow him to chew on something, I still worry though.

  27. I am in awe! Don't even know where to start. I want your cupboard and every little thing in it! Sorry about Wellie's tooth. I've had to quit giving my dogs anything harder than a Milkbone. Just can't afford the trips to the 'dentist".
